A Short Note About Ted Laso

Man, honestly, Ted Lasso changed my life. It changed the way I view friendships, relationships - both platonic and romantic. Every single character in Ted Lasso has something teach you. Every single episode leaves you in contemplation of your own life and choices. I watched Ted Lasso during a rocky point, and it would be no exaggeration to say the show kept me tethered and gave me hope unlike anything else. I think few other shows can neatly package the kind of emotions Ted Lasso evokes in you in every episode. Not to mention, the actors are absolutely brilliant. We don't see the emotional and darker side of Ted very often, but when we do, goddamn can Jason Sudeikis act. The episode in S2 where (spoiler) was goddamn phenomenal. A couple of stand-out episodes are "Rainbow" from season 2, and "Sunflowers" from season 3, both of which - from start to finish - showcase why Ted Lasso is the special show that it is. Ted Lasso has its minor issues, like every other show, but I believe this is as perfect as drama/comedy can get. Having watched Scrubs after Ted Lasso, it is clear that Bill Lawrence took the Scrubs formula and perfected it, and of course, having top-notch writers like Jason Sudeikis himself, and Brett Goldstein (who plays Roy Kent) helped.
